In January 2009 Lynda McDermott was asked to present an ASTD Webinar on "Basics of Emotional Intelligence" based on the ASTD Infoline booklet she authored in 2008.
The Objectives of the webinar were to help the attendees:

- • Recognize how emotional intelligence is related to work performance
- • Assess and develop your own and others' emotional intelligence competencies
- • Develop emotionally intelligent teams
