EquiPro International Presents Strategic Leadership Development for Regional and District Sales Managers At the 33rd Annual Conference of The Society for Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers

Lynda McDermott, President of EquiPro International Ltd. (EquiPro) recently made a presentation at the 2004 Society for Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers (SPBT) in Orlando, Florida on the topic of “Strategic Leadership Development for Regional and District Sales Managers”.

The objectives of the presentation included:

• • Understandingthe Best Leadership Practices for Sales & Marketing Managers/Executives in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry
• • Reviewing of a Case Study of one Pharmaceutical Company’s use of Strategic Leadership Development Process™
• • Identifying opportunities in your organization to apply the Strategic Leadership Development Process™

The presentation was based on the successful experiences EquiPro and its clients have had in developing leaders around the world. The summary of this approach to leadership development also was featured in SPBT’s FOCUS magazine (Fall 2003), in an article titled “Leadership: The Hidden Job Requirements for District Sales Managers”, written by Lynda McDermott and Bill Waite.

Attendees at the SPBT Conference included such companies as Pfizer, Biogen Idec, Novo Nordisk, Novartis, Boehringer Ingleheim, Schering-Plough and Sanofi-Synthelabo ICOS, Serono and Elan, all of whom are among EquiPro’s pharmaceutical/biotech clients.
