Lynda McDermott and Steve Epner, both Certified Speaking Professionals, were selected to present a workshop on "Building Your Virtual Business Team" at the NSA Winter Conference in Orlando, Florida.
NSA Members are entrepreneurs who are speakers and trainers who run their own companies. They, traditionally, have led full time staff to handle such functions as administration, technology, marketing, sales, etc. Increasingly they are outsourcing these functions to "virtual" staff who are part-time and independent. The issues they face are:
- • Which functions do you give to 'virtual' staff?
- • What do you look for when hiring a virtual team member?
- • What does it take to lead a virtual team?
