The American Society for Training and Development (ASTD)
announced at its International Conference and Exposition
in San Diego that EquiPro International (EquiPro) and PricewaterhouseCoopers
(PwC) were selected to receive a 2002 ASTD Excellence in
Practice Citation award in the performance improvement category.
This Citation was awarded to EquiPro and PwC for their
creation of Building Our Business: A Developmental Process
for Business Growth. Together, EquiPro and PwC created a
training program to build competencies that fostered proactive
business development and produced tangible business results
for PwC’s Dispute Analysis & Investigations (DA&I)
practice. All Division Partners, Directors and Managers
participated in the program.
ASTD’s Excellence in Practice program recognizes
results achieved through the use of practices, interventions
and tools from the entire scope of workplace learning and
performance. It also affirms the success achieved when the
best interests of the employees and the organization are
considered, and widely disseminates the practices and shares
the learning of the award recipients.
