EquiPro
Develops and Facilitates a Leadership and Marketing Workshop for the
DuPont Women Lawyers’ Network
January 2003
EquiPro International customized a one-day Leadership and
Marketing Workshop for the DuPont Women Lawyers’ Network
in New York, NY. The DuPont Women Lawyers’ Network is
comprised of lawyers from around the country who are considered
a “preferred provider” to the DuPont Corporation.
The
workshop featured “The Leader’s Legacy”,
which is a powerful and inspirational program that helps leaders
recognize that they have no choice whether or not they lead.
The program took the DuPont group through a series of interactive
questions to help the participants answer the following questions
for themselves:
How have
my past leadership experiences shaped me as a leader today? What are
my Leadership Legacy Goals? How do
I develop an awareness of my own personal “Leadership
Brand” How can
I best lead today to deliver value to my clients, colleagues
and employees?
In the afternoon the group participated in “Marketing
Yourself and Your Services” program. This program enabled
the participants to learn concepts and practice skills that
would increase their ability to influence others. The participants
learned:
How to
become more comfortable marketing themselves and their services How do
develop a plan for increasing their visibility/ credibility
in their target marketplace How women
approach their business development process How to
increase personal influence with clients and colleagues How to
use practical tools for sustaining their business development
efforts
After the program was complete, Lois Goodman, Partner at
Carpenter Bennett & Morrissey said, “"What
a great conference! Thanks again, Lynda, for bringing so much
to the event. I think everyone had a great time, and really
got into the projects that were set up. All of the feedback
I have received has been very positive.”
