Lynda McDermott, President of EquiPro International Ltd. (EquiPro) recently made a presentation at the 2005 Society for Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers (SPBT) in Boston, Massachusetts on the topic of “Sudden Impact™: How To Lead Your Transition into a New Position!”.

The objectives of the presentation included:

• • Coach new leaders on how to plan and execute an accelerated leadership transition
• • Provide new leaders with strategies and tools for managing their transition through the six phase of The Sudden Impact Leadership Transition Process™
• • Provide leaders with a process for assessing their leadership priorities and building a new and aligned sales team

The presentation was based on the successful experiences EquiPro and its clients have had in developing leaders around the world. The summary of this approach to leadership development also was featured in SPBT’s FOCUS magazine (Winter 2005), in an article titled “How New District Managers Can Hit The Ground Running,” written by Lynda McDermott.
